A Walk in Beauty

The Sisters of Notre Dame Lial property is a remnant of the larger Oak Openings ecosystem.  Naturalist Robin Park will familiarize us with native plants as we walk the property on a cool summer morning.  Sr. Marya will continue over lunch with a history of both the Oak Opening and the Great Black Swamp -- adjoining ecosystems with very different stories.  Bring a packed lunch;  beverages will be provided.
