Advent Conversation with Mary

Along with the Old Testament prophets and John the Baptist, Mary (rightly enough) plays a central role in the Church’s Advent preparation for the birth of God’s Son Jesus. Sr. Jan Marie is known for her creative approach to the scriptures and her “Conversation” with Mary is no exception. Mary becomes so much more relatable when we remember she was human as we are, experiencing all of the emotions an expectant mother would naturally have felt. Join us for Sr. Jan’s reflection, some quiet time for personal prayer, and some prayer together with other participants to mark this Advent time.
