Ilia Delio on “Why Teilhard’s Vision Matters”

Through livestreaming, Sr. Ilia’s message “Healing, Wholeness and the Power of Love: Why Teilhard’s Vision Matters” will be available to us all. She is giving the keynote talk (live) to open the St. Catherine of Siena Environmental Summit at The Center at Mariandale in Ossining, New York.

We at Lial (along with multiple other retreat centers across the country) will be able to listen in. Sr. Ilia holds the Josephine C. Connelly Endowed Chair in Theology at Villanova University. She is the recipient of a Templeton Course in Science and Religion Award and is the author of 22 books which have been translated into numerous languages. In 2015, she became general editor of a new book series by Orbis Books called “Catholicity in an Evolving Universe.”

She lectures nationally and internationally on topics including evolution, artificial intelligence, consciousness, culture and religion.
